Neousys Technology Announces Low-SWaP AI Mission Computer Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX

Taipei, Taiwan – May. 16, 2024 – Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, announced its latest addition to the Jetson-based computer family, FLYC-300. Weighing in at just 297g, featuring low-SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) form factor and 100 TOPS AI performance, FLYC-300 is ideal for a wide range of advanced applications for unmanned systems, including deployment on UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots).

The mobility and ease of operation of drones and robotics have made them invaluable across various industries. They excel in executing critical tasks and capturing imagery in hard-to-reach or widespread areas, including inspection, logistics, rescue operations, security, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. The introduction of FLYC-300 brings AI computation to enable autonomous navigation, object detection, real-time inference, and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) capabilities.

To cater to a variety of sensing and perception functions, the FLYC-300 supports 2x Ethernet, 2x USB3.2, and 2x GMSL2 ports, facilitating the integration of various sensors and cameras such as RGB, infrared, hyperspectral, HDR, and high-res cameras. With built-in UART and CAN support, seamless interaction with flight controllers, vehicles or robots is ensured.

Additionally, FLYC-300 accommodates a wide voltage input range from 4S to 14S battery packs (or 12V to 60V DC input) via the XT30 DC-IN connector for drones. It also offers compatibility with 5G or 4G modules for real-time transmission of images, videos, and data. FLYC-300 comes with two configurations: with or without an enclosure, customers can choose the specification that best fits their application needs.
