Everdrone strengthens commercial capacity to drive international expansion
Swedish health-tech company Everdrone has appointed Erik Ekbo as Head of Sales, marking a strategic move to strengthen the company’s commercial capabilities as it continues to grow and expand operations in Sweden and internationally.
Everdrone develops and operates Drone Emergency Medical Services (DEMS)—autonomous drone systems that deliver life-saving medical equipment and real-time video to emergency responders before the first unit arrives on scene. The company collaborates with Region Västra Götaland in Sweden and is fully integrated with the national emergency call center, SOS Alarm. Everdrone is now expanding its presence in the United Kingdom and France.
Erik Ekbo is a commercially driven leader with more than 20 years of international experience in sales and business development within the medtech and life-science sectors. As CEO of PExA AB, he led the company from a university spin-out to a publicly listed business with sales across multiple countries in Europe and the United States. He has also held senior positions at global medtech companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, and Cochlear. This combination of strategic leadership and experience navigating highly regulated markets makes him well suited for Everdrone’s ongoing phase of expansion.
