Allient Inc. to Support FGCU’s Golisano Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Initiative
Buffalo, N.Y. – 2 October, 2025 – Allient Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNT) (“Allient” or the “Company”), a global designer and manufacturer of speciality Motion, Controls and Power products and solutions for targeted industries and applications, today announced that Steve Warzala, President of Allient Defense, Chief Growth Officer, and Corporate Vice President, will represent the company at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU)’s Golisano Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Initiative (GIDDI) seminar, “Adaptive Sports and Recreation Activities: Lessons Learned.”
The GIDDI-hosted seminar will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Sugden Hall (SRHM), Room 111, in Fort Myers, Florida.
The seminar, held in partnership with Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports (GBAS), a nonprofit organization providing adaptive sports opportunities to individuals with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, will provide guidance on starting and maintaining successful adaptive sports and recreation programs. Participants will learn key steps, from initial planning to long-term sustainability, designed to help communities in Southwest Florida empower individuals with disabilities through sports.
