New collision avoidance – or drone interceptor – capabilities to be launched at Xponential Europe 2025

Cambridge Sensoriis is excited to announce that it will be exhibiting at the inaugural

Xponential Europe, the leading European trade fair for autonomous technologies and robotics.  Sensoriis will be showcasing the latest enhancements of its flagship ARC™ radar system, best known for providing precision autonomous drone landings, as well as launching RadarAware™ which enables BVLOS operations as well as supports drone interceptor use cases.

As a result of a collaborative, customer-driven journey, Sensoriis have extended the capabilities of its proprietary Active Radar Cooperating (ARC™) system.  The latest iteration of ARC™ supports radar-based “tethering”, a cutting-edge feature that allows UAVs to autonomously track and follow moving vehicles without needing satellite navigation.

The company has also expanded its product portfolio by introducing RadarAware™, an obstacle detect-and-avoid system that supports beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations. This strategic addition bolsters the company’s deep expertise in radar antenna design and augments UAV operational capabilities for mission critical operations.

Mike Hall, CTO of Sensoriis, added: “The true benefits of radar superiority over other detection systems have not yet been fully realised because of size, weight, and cost limitations. RadarAware™, however, could be a game changer for the UAV industry because its versatility lends itself to a range of applications, including Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) and airspace management in vertiports, or interceptor missions.”

The full suite of advanced features of ARC™ as well as RadarAware™ will be showcased on our stand E21 in Hall 1 at Xponential Europe, held in Düsseldorf from 18–20 February.

Sensoriis’ CEO and Founder, Dr. Steve Clark,  will also be giving an insightful presentation on: “Micro Radar for Drone Identification, Navigation, and Autonomy” on the 18th February at 15:30 in Room 14.
