With a breadth of experience from Boeing, Qualcomm, Magic Leap, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and United Technologies Research Center, altogether our technical team boasts an aggregate of over 76 years of post-undergraduate experience, and includes multiple DARPA Urban Challenge veterans.
Autonomous robots integration into enterprises isn’t the future - it’s the present.
Percepto’s holistic solution enables fully automated inspections and continuous surveillance of industrial sites around the globe. This is all facilitated by a visionary team based in the US, Australia and Israel, focused on pushing the boundaries of industrial automation.
Advanced automation will make aircraft safer, more available, more affordable and fundamentally transformative to the way goods and people move around the planet.
Starting with a certification-forward approach, Reliable Robotics first demonstrated gate-to-gate fully automated operation of a Part 23 aircraft and is now working towards commercialization of technologies for Part 23 cargo and Part 25 passenger vehicles.
As a Navy SEAL, Shield AI co-founder Brandon Tseng experienced firsthand problems where intelligent autonomy could have made life-saving differences. He asked himself what does the military of 2030 look like and what role does autonomy play. The answer – AI pilots powering every military asset: aircraft, drones, ships, satellites and submarines. ?
The lack of software and AI engineering talent from large defense primes presented an opportunity to start fresh and build the aerospace and defense technology company of the 21st century focused on AI pilots. And in 2015, alongside cofounders Ryan Tseng, and Andrew Reiter – Shield AI was founded to bring the best of AI and autonomy technology to the DoD and our allies to protect service members and civilians
The founders met as grad students at MIT in 2009 where they helped pioneer autonomous drone technology. After MIT they helped start Google’s Project Wing. Skydio was founded in 2014 and in 2018 we launched R1 which was widely regarded as a breakthrough in autonomous drones for consumers and as a platform for commercial development.
Skydio products are the result of over a decade of R&D by world experts in drones, AI, and computer vision.
