Allient Inc. Releases ThruSight-Theta™ for High-Precision Motion Applications

Buffalo, N.Y. – 30 July, 2026 – Allient Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNT) (“Allient” or the “Company”), a global designer and manufacturer of advanced specialty motor, Motion, Controls, and Power products and solutions for targeted industries and applications, has today announced the release of the ThruSight-Theta™ Continuous Rotation Rotary Stage, part of the ALIO Industries product line, an ultra-low-profile stage engineered for high-precision motion applications across automation, photonics, semiconductor, and life science markets.

Learn more about the ThruSight-Theta™ here.

The ThruSight-Theta™ features axial flux technology in an ironless motor architecture that delivers zero cogging torque, a large 110 mm through-hole aperture, and a 25 mm overall height. Designed for demanding move-and-settle applications, the rotary stage provides smooth, repeatable rotary motion while enabling backside accessibility and compact system integration.

Key features include:

  • Ironless motor design eliminates cogging torque to deliver exceptionally smooth motion and improved positioning accuracy.
  • Ultra-low 25 mm profile reduces system height, moving mass, and Abbe error, improving precision and simplifying machine integration.
  • Provides immediate positional feedback upon power-up with optional 1 Vp-p Sin-Cos analog, Digital AQB, and absolute encoder outputs.
  • Standard 3 m cables and multiple encoder configurations support integration into OEM automation systems.

The ThruSight-Theta™ is designed for high-precision applications across life and health science, photonics/micro assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, and precision automation & motion control.

“ThruSight-Theta™ reflects Allient’s continued focus on developing advanced motion solutions for demanding precision applications,” said Mark Holcomb, Product Line Manager. “Its ironless motor architecture provides smooth, repeatable rotary motion, while its compact design supports precise positioning and efficient system integration.”
