SkyWatch was founded in 2016 by Tomer Kashi and Ori Blumenthal. It initially started as a project designed to assess drone flight risks in real time and create a “safety score” for drone operators. As the project evolved, the team kept hearing the same pain point rising from many operators - drone insurance! It was only natural to harness their combined experience and unique risk detection algorithms to disrupt the way drone insurance is handled today.
